Fernanda Ogazon | Art Consultant
Hailing from Mexico City, Fernanda Ogazon has always had a love for the creative. Having shown a talent for the culinary arts from an early age, she attended the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu culinary institute after finishing high school. Upon graduating from Le Cordon Bleu, she accepted a position at one of the most highly regarded restaurants in Mexico City where her culinary skills quickly gained recognition throughout the city. Fernanda soon realized, though, that her artistic passion encompassed far more than just culinary pursuits. She, thus, made the decision to return to school and obtain a Bachelors of Art History at Universidad Iberoamericana, graduating summa cum laude. During this time period, she worked at non-profit art organizations and private galleries, developing a keen understanding of the needs of the art market.
Fernanda then proceeded to graduate studies at the world-renowned Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York City, and eventually postgraduate studies at the National Academy Museum and School, also in NYC. Her time in NYC allowed her to further build her international reputation and network, and it was during this time that she began her first foray into art advising, offering services to collectors in her native Mexico. Despite a love for NYC that continues to this day, she made the decision to relocate to Houston, a bridge between the art markets of Latin America, East and West Coast, as well as the southern US. Upon moving to Houston, Fernanda had a brief stint as an art and culture TV host at channel 55 and then was hired at a private art gallery where her knowledge and reputation grew the gallery’s sales and client base dramatically within a period of months.
Over time, it became ever clearer to Fernanda, however, that her true drive was to combine the elements of visual art and interior decor, guiding clients to a cohesive aesthetic in their homes and offices. From this desire, FOSART was born. Fernanda's unique sense of style and artistic vision, influenced by her multicultural and international background, has enriched the interior spaces of clients across the globe. Always seeking a new challenge, Fernanda and FOSART thrive off creating new work for patrons seeking trendsetting yet timeless art and design solutions.
